Lower Tailgate Bumpers – Pair – 1967–1991 Chevy GMC C/K Squarebody Pickup, Blazer & Jimmy
The Lower Tailgate Bumpers are OE-style restoration components designed for 1967–1991 Chevy and GMC C/K Squarebody Fleetside pickup trucks, including later 1987–1991 R/V series models, as well as select Blazer and Jimmy SUVs. These rubber bumpers install at the lower tailgate contact points and serve as a critical cushion between the tailgate and the bed floor or rear body structure when the tailgate is closed.
From the factory, lower tailgate bumpers were used to control tailgate alignment, absorb impact, and prevent metal-to-metal contact during closure.
