Behind rear bumper and attaches to tail light panel. The bumper brackets mount to this part. Cross rail (870-3068-1) welds to the bottom of this piece, so if you're doing work on tail light panel, trunk floor or rear of the car you will need both rails as well as extensions (871-3068-L/R)
