This hood insulation kit is an OEM-style replacement for 1968-1969 Ford Fairlane, Torino, Ranchero, Mercury Comet, Montego, and Cyclone applications not equipped with a hood scoop. Designed for the underside of the hood, this kit helps restore the factory-style appearance while supporting insulation and sound-deadening function during restoration and repair work. It is suited for 1968 and 1969 Ford and Mercury intermediate models where the original hood insulation is deteriorated, missing, damaged, or no longer presentable. This kit is intended for non-hood scoop applications and supports correct underhood detailing for classic restoration of these Ford and Mercury platforms.
