Restore proper sealing and factory-correct fit at the firewall with this Heater Core Firewall Seal, designed for non–air-conditioned GM vehicles using a 2-inch thick heater core. This technically correct reproduction is manufactured by Classic Headquarters (CHQ) and offered by Auto Metal Direct (AMD) to accurately replace the original GM seal.
Constructed from dense, form-fitting molded foam, this seal is designed to properly surround the heater core tubes and seal the firewall opening, preventing air leaks, water intrusion, engine fumes, and unwanted heat from entering the cabin. Unlike generic foam replacements, this reproduction matches the original shape, thickness, and compression characteristics used by GM.
