The Gas Tank – 40 Gallon – Gas – 1987–1991 Chevy GMC Suburban is an OE-style replacement fuel tank engineered specifically for 1987–1991 gasoline engine Suburban models. Designed to restore factory fitment and maximum fuel capacity, this tank is correct for late Squarebody Suburban 2WD and 4WD applications equipped with gas engines.
Manufactured as an AMD OE replacement, this fuel tank is stamped from high-quality rust-resistant steel and finished with a protective zinc coating to help resist corrosion. Each tank features the correct factory-style shape, ribs, mounting holes, flanges, and curvature to match original GM production specifications.
