This door lock pawl is designed for 1968-1979 GM X-Body models, including Chevrolet Nova and other X-Body variants, as well as 1969 Pontiac Firebird (F-Body) and 1969-1970 Chevrolet Biscayne, Bel Air, Impala, and Caprice 2-door B-Body models. Installed within the door latch assembly, the pawl engages the internal locking mechanism to control proper door lock function from the interior and exterior handles.
