How to Identify Your Bed:
An 8-board bed uses eight wooden bed planks and seven metal bed strips, while a 9-board bed uses nine wooden bed planks and eight metal bed strips. Count your bed boards or bed strips before ordering to ensure you select the correct replacement components.

Installation Note:
Some 1951 trucks originally equipped with the early 9-board bed floor may have been converted to an 8-board bed over the years.
