Replace a rusted, missing, or damaged original with this Battery Floor Cover, designed for 1947–1955 Chevrolet and GMC Advanced Design pickups and Suburban / Carryall models, including ’55 First Series trucks. Offered as an OE-style X-Part by Auto Metal Direct (AMD), this panel restores the factory battery access opening located in the cab floor.
Manufactured to replicate the original shape and footprint, this battery cover installs over the floor-mounted battery opening and provides proper protection while maintaining a factory-correct appearance. Constructed from durable steel and finished in a black EDP coating, the panel is protected against rust and corrosion during storage and prior to paint or final installation.
